Born 2016|Selle Français|17.3hh (approx. 178cm)
Roubalu is a striking 17.3hh, 10-year-old Selle Français gelding, bred in France and purchased from the UK. Chestnut with a white blaze and four white socks, he's as handsome as he is talented, known affectionately as “the Rolls Royce” of the barn for his elegance and maturity. With an incredible natural jump and plenty of scope, he has competed up to 1.40m with a professional rider and continues to impress athletes in the ring.
Now stabled at Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club with Team AM Sport Horses, he is partnered with professional rider Alexandra Grant at the 1.20m–1.30m level, and also carries French national junior rider Camie Boul, who will campaign him at 1.20m–1.25m this season. Off the field, Roubalu is one of the kindest horses in the yard, with a healthy appetite and a firm opinion about being fed first.
