Old Gold Victorious “Vicky”

Old Gold Victorious, known to everyone as “Vicky”, is proof that heart matters more than size. Standing a modest 15.1hh, he's been part of the team since the very beginning, and remains, to this day, the most adorable gentleman in the yard. Gentle and endlessly patient with children, he transforms the moment he heads out eventing, finding another gear entirely and competing with the heart of a lion.

Now the team's trusted schooling horse, Vicky looks after every young rider who comes through the barn, and still goes out at intermediate/advanced level himself just to keep his eye in, always first on the lorry and last off, because he simply loves the job. Off duty, he's a creature of habit: a paddock snooze in the afternoon sun, a good lie-down, his mash, and plenty of cuddles. At 22 years young, Old Gold Victorious remains, quite simply, a true champion.
