KMS Comet “Ned”

Known affectionately as “Big Ned”, along with Chunkus, Gloria, and Big Lad, depending on his mood, KMS Comment is a 17.3hh, 10-year-old Irish Sport Horse with the heart and presence of a true team favourite. Bay with a striking white blaze, he's earned the nickname “the Bentley V8” of the yard for his power, scope, and sheer love of work.

Co-owned with the wonderful Cooper family, Ned has competed at international level up to 1.30m and will step up to the 1.30m–1.35m level this season with his best friend and rider, Alexandra Grant. In the barn he's every bit as memorable as he is in the ring, full of character, always up for a game, and easily won over with paddock time, a good roll, his mash, and plenty of carrots. Simply put: he eats a lot, he gives a lot, and he's one of the best horses, and best friends, on the team.
